Kara’s Final Concert in Japan to be Aired Live

Kara’s final concert performance of its ongoing Asia tour, Karasia will air live nationwide in 60 theaters in Japan.

On April 27, via the homepage of Kara’s Japanese distribution agency, Universal Music, Kara′s agency revealed, “The added Saitama Concert will be aired live in 60 theaters across [Japan].”

Kara kicked off its Japan concert series on April 14 in Yokohama Arena and will be moving on to perform in Nagoya, Osaka Fukuoka, Tokyo and finally in Saitama’s Super Arena on May 26 and May 27.
Though Tokyo was supposed to be the last city of Kara’s tour, due to sold-out seating and fan demands, two additional dates in Saitama was added.

ENT to Create SNSD Webtoon

It appears Girls’ Generation (SNSD) is leaving no territory unmarked as it will soon be making its way onto the pages of a web cartoon (webtoon).

According to cartoon animation company Ylab, ENT, a webtoon featuring SM Entertainment artists, will be released in Japan.
SNSD will make a cameo in the webtoon, which is about a chance encounter between a seemingly ordinary high school student, who is actually the vocalist, known as “A,” of SM’s newest group Born on the Fourth of July, and a famous fan fiction writer.

The series, which will be produced by writer Yoon In Wan of The New Secret Royal Commissioner, will be released in black and white on popular Japanese anime website Club Sunday on May 30 before a color version becomes available in Korea via portal website Naver on July 4.

4Minute holds surprise fan meeting

Following its performance on SBS’ Inkigayo, the girls of 4minute headed to Seoul’s Sindang-dong to a ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes) shop and held a fan meeting with some 50 lucky fans.
