2AM and 2PM to become Oneday

It was reported that JYP Entertainment's two biggest male groups 2PM and 2AM will be merging into a single unit group called "Oneday".
As reported by Koreaboo, the two groups will be collaborating to produce the original soundtrack for their upcoming documentary film titled "Beyond the Oneday: Story of 2PM & 2AM".
It was also revealed that the songs will be up-tempo tracks that combine the powerful vocals of the 2AM singers and the dancing talents of the 2PM boys.
"Beyond The Oneday: Story of 2PM & 2AM" is a documentary movie that will chronicle the stories of the 2PM and 2AM members. The movie will include behind-the-scenes footage of JYP NATION in Japan 2011, where both groups performed on stage together as one.

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon buys her family a three-bathroom apartment

Taeyeon from Girls’ Generation is receiving a whole lot of praise from netizens after pictures of an apartment unit that she purchased for her parents surfaced online on Monday.
The picture uploaded was one of the most viewed articles online with netizens gushing over the girl group member’s filial piety.
On Thursday, Taeyeon appeared on an episode of KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together,” where she announced that she bought her parents a home that came with three bathrooms.
The star is currently busy promoting her unit-group TaeTiSeo, which consists of herself, Tiffany and Seohyun from Girls’ Generation.
Although the girl band members have previously performed individually for various projects, this is the first time that a subunit group has been formed. The agency said that it will become more proactive in pursuing subunit group projects.

KARA's dolls ready for sale

After creating a buzz as the first girl group to release figure dolls, KARA's management revealed that they are now up for sale to the public.
As reported on Kpopstarz website, KARA's agency DSP Media revealed that they have received a huge rush of orders on the dolls.
Earlier, the representative of the agency stated, "The dolls will first begin its pre-sales in Korea and expand to other countries, including Japan - where the girls have a large fans base. There is much attention to how the market will respond to the dolls as KARA is the first girl group to release their very own dolls."
As reported earlier, KARA's official dolls are 12 inches tall. Donning the costume for their "Mister" concept, the dolls are so life like that they look almost the same as their human counterparts.

SHINee, Jay Park coming to Singapore in June

Singaporean fans of K-pop idol groups SHINee, B1A4, Teen Top, and 7.9.4.2 can catch them in person this June when they head down for a group concert.
Together with Korean hip-hop artiste, Jay Park, they will be performing on June 15th for one night only at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The two-and-a-half hour "Boyz Night Out" concert is slated to be a K-pop dance and musical extravaganza.
This will be the first time most of the boy bands are performing in Singapore, besides SHINee, who were here last September. Hip-hop artiste Jay Park appeared on Singapore's television screens last Sunday as a guest performer at the Star Awards 2012.
The concert is jointly organized by Launch Entertainment and Contents Storage Group.
